IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE KILTORCAN PADDOCK

The track management have advised that it is not permitted to drive tent pegs into the ground in the paddock – either on the concrete or stone areas. All drivers\teams must use weights or use their vehicles to secure their tents.

Kiltorcan Raceway staff will be checking the paddock for breaches of this and will deal with any breaches directly.

Paddock Plan for Round 5 is below.

As per the Supplementary Regulations for the event, the paddock plan must be obeyed and penalties will apply if you do not follow them. Team Principals will also be responsible for ensuring their team members adhere to the plan.

NOTE – the marked pathways must be kept clear at all times and no vehicles can be parked on them.

  • There will be no need to use tape or rope to secure your paddock space in the evenings. Your space is your space and anybody else parking there will be asked to move and will be subject to penalties.
  • Please check in with the Kiltorcan staff before setting up to ensure you are in the correct place as you will be asked to take down your tent and move it if you are in the wrong space. Paddock space is extremely limited and it is important that everybody is in the right location.
  • There are to be no private camper vans or motor homes in the paddock.
  • All camper vans, motor homes, private cars and vans are to be parked in the field next to the paddock. Access to this field is from the main road.
  • If you are with a team you can unload your van\trailer and must then park in the car park.
  • If you no longer need all the space you have requested you must not reallocate it to another driver. Please email mikarting.parking@gmail.com and we will reassign it to the next most suitable driver in the order their original requests came in. This is the fairest way to do it for everybody.
  • Camper parking spaces will be allocated as you arrive at the camper area. There is no power available so please bring your own generator.
  • There will be no vehicular access to the paddock once racing begins. This is a safety policy. All vehicles will be directed to the car park.

Team principals are responsible for ensuring that drivers and parents obey the parking plan. Any unauthorised vehicles in the paddock will result in the team being located further down the paddock at the next event.

Attention X30 Junior
We are delighted to have a large grid of X30 Junior in 2022.

With the large grid comes a number of issues which we, the Kart Commission, have taken on board.

One major issue was the way we operated the heats up to now which worked well with the smaller grids.

We have decided to split the grids and so now we will have 3 grids this weekend and we would ask everyone to check the timing.ie website to check your grid number and position.

If you have changed your transponder since the last race then you will need to ensure timing has your correct number.
